What we collect

When you send a buyer request, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, location, vehicle interest, budget, payment preference, timing and notes you choose to share.

When you play the Car Buddy Challenge, we record challenge progress, question responses, score, broad device category, traffic source and sharing actions. We use a random first-party browser identifier to measure repeat plays. We do not store your IP address or raw browser user-agent string in Challenge analytics.

How we use it

We use your details to understand what car you want, check whether your request looks real, avoid duplicate requests and follow up about your search.

Who may see it

Car Buddy may share relevant request details with approved dealership partners when it helps match you with a suitable car. We do not sell your details as a public list.

Spam and safety checks

We use simple security checks to block spam, repeated submissions and automated form abuse. These checks help keep the service useful for real buyers.

Your choices

You can ask Car Buddy to update or delete your buyer request. You can also ask us to stop contacting you about the request or ask us to delete Challenge analytics linked to your browser identifier where we can verify it.

Analytics retention

We keep detailed Challenge analytics for up to 180 days for product improvement, security and performance analysis. We may keep non-identifying totals for longer-term comparisons.
